Nature Poster
Task
In this assignment, I was assigned to watch and study the documentary, EARTH 2007. Ather that, I need to design 3 A3 size posters based on my reflection, extended research, and observation regarding the documentary.

Outcome
Introduction
Poster A
Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed. We are threatening the environment and they can't speak for themselves.
Experiencing
Poster B
Nature is amazing and inspiring. Animals and plants adapt themselves to survive in extreme conditions. The land is not merely soil, it is a fountain of energy flowing through a circuit of soils, plants, and animals.
Appreciating

When the last tree has been cut down,
the last fish caught, the last river poisoned,
only then will we realize that one cannot eat money. We must conserve and preserve our nature environment for a better future. We need nature but nature doesn't need us.

Drafting & Sketching
I did the design and composition of my posters. This is to ensure clarity and flow of the deliveries.
Drawing & Colouring
The color media I used was watercolour, acrylic, and soft paster. Since I can't find an A3 size paper with 200 gsm and above, I decided to combine two A4 watercolor papers to create one.
Do Research & Gather Information
I jobbed down the key points in my notes. It was easier for me to keep track my work.
Insert Content
I used 2 methods to insert the content, written on and cut & paste. I'm using cut & paste because I found it hard to write on acrylic as the surface was too rough and uneven.
Reflection
1.0 Discipline Specific Knowledge
I was able to understand the threats the nature environment faces and humans are the factor contributing to these threats. There are many ways to overcome these issues. We humans must protect our mother nature.
I was able to carry out research and be selective towards the information. Whenever a statement, I do a double check to ensure reliability. Besides, Wikipedia is not a reliable source!!
