Micro Agriculture Seminar

Poster

We created an infographic poster that features micro agriculture benefits, a slogan, collaboration, sponsorship, and more. The main concept of this poster is to be simple, easy to read and to grab the attention of the audience.

#30daysMAchallenge

Media Kit

A 30 days campaign. We highlight the activities and mini events to provide the audience a clear picture. We also give a link to our social media app so that they can reach out to us.

Task

In this group assignment, we were required to create an action plan and strategies for a virtual awareness campaign as part of our group project. Micro-agriculture was our group's allocated topic. Research and an initial plan should be conducted in the following manner: empathy, define, ideation, and prototype. After that, we had to choose one organizational body with whom to collaborate. The final product should be a digital media prototype, such as a webinar and campaign in our example. Besides, we were only required to create a conceptual plan, not to implement or produce an actual campaign.

Progress

Define

Problem statements, goal & objective, advantages, solutions, targeted organization, and SWOT analysis were all part of this stage. We analyzed all of the data we gathered from the empathy stage before beginning this stage. After that, I allocated tasks to my team members and began more in-depth work.

Ideation

We intend to collaborate with celebrities or influencers such as David Beckham, Jean Cheah, and others in all 3 ideations. For the 1st ideation, we chose Facebook and Instagram, followed by Tik Tok for the 2nd ideation and YouTube for the 3rd. All of the ideations were were done with all of the members.

Empathy

We kick-started the assignment by creating a shared PowerPoint presentation slide. Following that, all members conducted research and gathered information according to the assigned task. This part was quite straightforward and Mr paul had provided us guidance and direction.

Prototype

This is the stage in which we create an action plan. We chose the first ideation and decided to run a 30-day hashtag challenge on micro agriculture. We also added sponsorships from The Stars, Tesco, and a calendar to show when the activities would take place.

3.0 Thinking and Problem Solving Skill

We ran into some problems when Mr. Paul asked us to merge slides in the empathy stage since we didn't know what to put on the left slide. Because I was in charge of this slide, I began to conduct additional study and seek inspiration from other groups, but it was still useless. However, I was able to complete that presentation by going back to basics: what was the difference between micro and other types of agriculture?

5.0 Interpersonal Skills

In this group project, I act as an unofficial leader. I distributed the work evenly among my team members and communicated with them whenever they required assistance. During our time together, there was an international student, and I tried to be considerate and assist him with his work. Finally, we were able to complete this task on time, and I was proud of my team.

6.0 Intrapersonal Skills

In Miro Board (Red annotation), I always check at other groups' remarks to make improvements. In addition, because there were a handful of assignments that overlapped, I created a timetable so that I could evenly divide my time between all of them and not neglect any. When 'he' kept delaying his progress, I was able to keep my emotions in check and remain considerate so that it won't affect the whole team's spirit.
